What did my favourite teacher educate me? Tons! Say our graduating P6ers

These students of Jiemin Primary Faculty were sad to be leaving college and bidding their instructors goodbye. Schoolbag caught up with a few of them after they collected their PSLE effects to request what classes they will hold on to as they go on to secondary faculty.

Ng Wei Jie, with Mr Desmond Seah, who heads the Aesthetics division

“Mr Seah is a enjoyment songs teacher. He’s 1 of my favourites. He is also my Angklung CCA instructor.

Songs has supplied me the experience to be on stage for the 1st time. I uncovered that when I enjoy audio and men and women get pleasure from it, it makes me happier.

Mr Seah motivated me to start off actively playing the piano much too. In secondary school, I’m going to proceed pursuing tunes. I hope to choose the Music Elective Programme or try out for the school band and find out a new instrument.”

Iman Delysha, with Mdm Mas’linda Mas’od, who is the Year Head for P3 and P4 students 

“Mdm Mas’linda has been my Malay Language trainer for four many years. Her classes are constantly pleasurable. She takes advantage of tales and online games to assistance us master far better, and she’s really energetic in class.

She is my function design, and I hope to be like her – sporty, reputable, responsible. To be a extra energetic human being, I strategy to try out sporting activities CCAs like basketball and badminton in secondary college!

I bear in mind in P4, there was a bat that was appropriate outside our classroom door. Mdm Mas’linda employed that lesson to communicate about the bat. Some of us were being afraid, so we talked about fears. Mdm Mas’linda informed us she is worried of cats! She was not shy about sharing her fears with us. It made her experience very approachable.”

Chow Sher Min, with Ms Aliya Maisarah, a Principal 6 sort teacher 

“Ms Aliya is my P6 type trainer and also the teacher in charge of my CCA, Journalism Club. She is type, and cares for all her students.

When I was feeling pressured and had some friendship challenges in P5 and P6, she wrote me little notes that assisted me force through the darkness.

In our CCA, we find out reporting skills like posting creating and photography. Ms Aliya also encouraged me to just take portion in the Nationwide Key University Images Competition this 12 months. I also received the prospect to carry out interviews in faculty and emcee school functions.

All these served me to turn into a much more self-confident individual. As I go on to secondary school, I will remember to keep on talking up!”
