Tyre Nichols’ killing has some Black teens observing police as threats, not allies

Several hours just after his college day ended Friday, 16-calendar year-aged Caleb Carpenter manufactured his way to the Interstate 55 bridge connecting Memphis and Arkansas to join protesters who experienced collected immediately after the release of footage showing the brutal beating of Tyre Nichols by law enforcement.
