The sixth yearly awards, organised by the Nationwide Affiliation for Exclusive Instructional Wants, developed 18 winners across England.

They include Westlea College in Wiltshire, Upton-by-Chester Large College in Cheshire and Moon Corridor University, Reigate, Surrey.

Pearl Barnes from Somerset has received the Send chief of the calendar year award, although Patricia Hetherington from West Yorkshire was named as studying support staff member of the 12 months. Jemini Patel won the trainer of the 12 months award.
