Parents are urged to keep their children home if possible during this inclement weather. If parents must take their children out of the house, they should dress appropriately for cold temperatures and make sure that everyone is bundled up warmly. Driving should also be avoided unless necessary, as icy roads can cause dangerous accidents.

Additionally, it is important to stay updated with school announcements and closures due to the weather. Depending on the situation, districts may choose to cancel classes if weather conditions worsen or even if clear roads are present.

Schools will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates on when classes will resume. In the meantime, students are encouraged to stay safe, warm and away from icy roads. With any luck, the snow will subside soon, and students can return to school as normal. Until then, take all necessary precautions while enjoying the winter weather!
